🎻 Yin Yoga & Classical Music by Candlelight

Sound is the most subtle form of vibration, and vibration is the root of all manifestation.”
Hazrat Inayat Khan.

Trio Clara with Dikla Kafka playing violin and Pamela Chang invite you to an evening of presence, grounding, and nourishment for body and soul. In a candlelit space, classical instruments will support the nervous system as you settle into the quiet, steady shapes of Yin Yoga. Postures will be held with care and attention, allowing the sound of strings to move through muscles, joints, and breath. Vibration will become a physical experience, helping you release held tension, soften resistance, and create space from the inside out.

✨ This is not just a class; it’s an experience; it is sensory encounter where music, movement, and stillness meet. Join us for a night of serenity, surrender, and sound.

This immersive evening blends deep stillness with soulful sound.
As Pamela guides you through grounding Yin postures, Dikla and her chamber group will fill the space with the warm, resonant tones of live violin — creating a meditative atmosphere that invites both body and mind into harmony.

Discover how music and yoga together can open the heart, quiet the mind, and awaken a deeper sense of presence.

You all know Dikla Kafka as a one of the senior teachers at SolarYou Yoga. Yu took numerous Ashtanga classes, workshops and Teacher Trainings led by Dikla. But we bet you never saw her performing in an orchestra!

Dikla started my yoga journey back in Tel Aviv, her home town, after 5 years of Korean martial arts practice. She was immediately drawn to the magic and depth of yoga. She practiced Ashtanga, Iyengar and Sivananda yoga, and finished level 1 Ashtanga training in 2010, while pregnant with my second child. Dikla teaches Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. She leads TT programs since 2017 and advanced trainings and Yoga Philosophy workshops since 2015. Dikla has MA in political Science and philosophy, Tel Aviv university and BA in Interdisciplinary Arts studies, Tel Aviv university.

In her spare time she raises her 2 amazing girls, plays the violin and practice martial arts.

The 🌙 benefits of Yin Yoga.

  • Deep release for body and mind — long, passive holds target connective tissues (fascia, ligaments, joints), improving flexibility and joint mobility.

  • Nervous system regulation — slow tempo activates the parasympathetic system, reducing stress, anxiety, and promoting emotional balance.

  • Improved circulation and energy flow — postures stimulate meridians and chi flow (similar to acupuncture), enhancing organ function and vitality.

  • Increased mindfulness and inner awareness — prolonged stillness cultivates patience, presence, and meditative depth.

  • Restoration and recovery — balances more dynamic practices and daily physical or mental overload.

  • Enhanced sleep and hormonal balance — through deep relaxation and nervous system reset.

🎼 Benefits of Classical Music for the Nervous System & Relaxation

  • Activates the parasympathetic nervous system — Slow, harmonious melodies can shift the body from “fight-or-flight” into a state of rest and digest, allowing deeper release in Yin postures.

  • Lowers heart rate & blood pressure — Research shows listening to calming classical compositions reduces heart rate variability and promotes cardiovascular calm, supporting the stillness of Yin Yoga.

  • Enhances brain wave entrainment — Classical music often encourages shifting into alpha and theta brain wave states (associated with relaxation and meditation), enhancing the meditative dimension of your practice.

  • Connects body and breath through rhythm — The gentle, measured pacing of classical music can guide the breath and movement, helping practitioners stay present and synchronized in long holds.

  • Facilitates emotional integration — Rich harmonic textures and dynamic shifts in classical pieces can help process stored emotions, release tension, and bring emotional clarity—perfect when paired with the introspective nature of Yin.

  • Improves sleep and restorative states — Regular exposure to soothing classical music has been linked to improved sleep quality and deeper restorative phases of rest, enhancing the benefits of Yin classes aimed at restoration.

  • Creates a sacred soundscape — The elegance and structure of classical music lend a sense of ceremony and depth to a yoga space, elevating the ambiance and inviting participants into a more refined, immersive experience.

  • Supports integrative healing — Because classical music touches multiple brain regions (auditory, emotional, memory), it helps integrate mind, body, and spirit—mirroring the holistic intention of Yin Yoga.
